As we wrap up the first quarter of 2025, we’re reflecting on the incredible events we attended, the inspiring conversations we had, and the valuable insights we gained. From deep dives into AI to hands-on collaboration with mission-driven organizations, it’s been a season of learning and growing together. Here’s a look at what we’ve been up to and what’s down the road.

Events We've Attended

Traction Rec YMCA & JCC User Conferences (March 17-19, March 31-April 2)

We were proud sponsors of both the Traction Rec YMCA and JCC User Conferences, which brought together organizations using Traction Rec and Salesforce to drive their missions forward. These events provided structured content on best practices, upcoming features, and real-world user experiences.

We were so thrilled to share how Soapbox Engage streamlines the operations of member-based organizations with tools that facilitate online fundraising, event registrations, pledge payments, and more! It was such a pleasure to connect with the folks doing this work face-to-face— and get to say hi to some of our current customers!

Highlights of the user conferences included:

• Engaging roadmap discussions on what’s next for Traction Rec.
• Hands-on learning with user journeys and feedback sharing.
• Sponsor demo jams, where Soapbox Engage showcased our solutions— we were sure to make a penguin splash!
• Plenty of networking opportunities and, of course, swag tables!

The spirit of these conferences was truly about collaboration. It was one of those rare opportunities to bring together likeminded people focused on likeminded missions (and using similar tools) to learn, share, and innovate as a community.

Salesforce TrailblazerDX (March 5-6)

TrailblazerDX was a deep dive into the ever-evolving Salesforce ecosystem, with a strong focus on AI. We had the opportunity to connect with Salesforce’s technical architects and gain a clearer understanding of their direction. While the nonprofit use cases for AI are still evolving, the potential is undeniable, and we’re excited to see how these advancements will shape the sector. It was also great to connect with fellow nonprofit professionals navigating similar challenges and opportunities.

Microsoft Global Nonprofit Leaders Summit (March 25-27)

In just its second year, the Microsoft Global Nonprofit Leaders Summit has already become a key gathering for leaders in the Microsoft nonprofit space. AI was again a major theme, particularly in how it’s reshaping day-to-day operations for nonprofits. We had the chance to connect with partners like Threshold, Benevolent Tech, and Build Consulting, and discuss the rapid changes happening within Microsoft’s nonprofit offerings.

A major takeaway? AI-driven tools in productivity apps like Outlook and SharePoint are making a tangible difference in nonprofit efficiency, and the pace of change is faster than ever.
