2. Naming Issue in NPSP with Summer '25 Release
   Caitlin Gilmore (Southern Environmental Law Center)

   This Trailblazer noticed a bug appear in NPSP after the Summer '25 release where the "Auto Name" checkbox functionality in Manage Household is not working as expected. When users uncheck "Auto Name," "Formal Greeting," and "Informal Greeting" and enter custom values, those values initially save but later revert to the automatic naming after the record is edited. Salesforce support has acknowledged the issue and published a knowledge base article, but no fix is currently available. Perhaps some more community attention around this issue will encourage Salesforce to release a fix.

3. Best Practices Around Documentation in Salesforce
   Catherine Donaldson (Royal Children's Hospital Foundation)

   This Trailblazer is launching a documentation project to record various fields, objects, automations, and business processes in their nonprofit's Salesforce environment. They’re seeking recommendations on effective formats or platforms for documentation (noting that their existing Confluence and Jira records from implementation are insufficient for training). Great Ideas for Nonprofits Using Salesforce

1. More Flexibility Around Referral Type Field in Nonprofit Cloud

   Currently the standard Referral Type field on the Referral object in NPC is fairly rigid, causing potential confusion for users. Here's an idea to introduce greater flexibility around the Referral Type field, including the ability for System Administrators to make the field optional, remove it from layouts, and manage its values.
